Thank You Shelley

We want to not only say a big well done to our now registered manager Shelley Harris but also a thank you for her dedication and ongoing hard work with us at Hazelwood over the years. Shelley has been an integral part of the Hazelwood team for over a decade and is an absolute credit to us, a fine example of our values at Hazelwood Homecare.

Shelley has worked at Hazelwood for 20 years. Starting in 2003 she began as a care worker and throughout the years has gone on to progress through many different roles, learning and growing alongside Hazelwood. Within that time Shelley started as a care worker, then became a co-ordinator, then an operations manager and is now registered manager. For many years, Shelley has worked alongside the founders of the company and then her family once they became directors.

As you may know, our Hazelwood office has moved around through the years from Rawtenstall Kingfisher, to Stacksteads Futures Park, to Bank Street Rawtenstall, to The Bank Crawshawbooth and now with our latest move we will be located in Haslingden.  We are looking to be moved into our new office around summertime 2023.

Since starting in 2003, until present Shelley has been supporting two clients from day one and has worked alongside three original staff members during these 20 years. She is woven into the very fabric that is Hazelwood. As the care industry and in particular domiciliary care has adapted and changed throughout the years, Shelley has witnessed these changes and continued to adapt with the times. Her knowledge base is very extensive and amongst both the team and our lovely clients she is well respected and valued for all that she brings to the team.

We are thrilled to have Shelley as our registered manager at Hazelwood. We aim to nurture the growth of our team members whether it be personally or professionally and Shelley is a testament to that ethos.
